Quicksand Goo!!!

The kids and I are doing a unit study on QUICKSAND. Today we made "quicksand goo"

I wasn't sure how Zachary would do with this. His sensory issues make him touching "ooey=gooey" stuff a little tough sometimes. But, he really got into this...

Molly LOVED it too and it was great for her fine-motor skills.
I knew Paul would love it. He loves everything gooey and wanted to throw it on everybody.
The quicksand was really easy and fun to make. Clean-up was not near as bad as I thought it might be! It was great for all the kids! Paul and I discussed it's "viscosity" and just enjoyed it. I am always looking for stuff to work on Zach and Molly's fine motor skills and this was great to work those little muscles they need to strenghten. It was all around fun and educational, it just doesn't get any better than that!

Hey Michelle, I love the jelly bean look, but I am quite fond of jelly beans in general! We will be starting the Blue Diamond study soon. Since I am now following you, I can look forward to your Quicksand review.
Have a great week.
Blessings,
PK
