Wordless Wednesday - Homeschooling in the Spring

My avid reader!
My budding reader!
My "wanna-be" reader!
Reading time turns in to "wrestle time" (aka-sibling bonding)
And then play time turns in to science with the discovery of a snake. Molly was TERRIFIED until we read about them and I explained it's a kingsnake and they eat other snakes.
Ok, so it wasn't "Wordless Wednesday"--few moments in my life are "wordless"

I love school outdoors. My son has 2 California Kingsnakes and I must say it freaked me out when I learned they eat Rattle Snakes!!!

Oh my Mary! My boys would love to have a snake for a pet! I said long ago "no reptiles in my house!!!" We have had a couple pet lizards for a week or so but that's as far as I will go!

Stopping by from 5 Minutes for Mom.

Yay for schooling outside! The weather has been beautiful here as well.

That is the best part of homeschooling for sure - especially being able to spend it outdoors! :)

I love learning moments, and building upon them. I think they make the best kind of learning, because they are so meaningful, they're in perspective, and they are on your kids' terms. Great post.
